I had an amazing experience at Ramenya! The spicy tonkotsu ramen was out of this world—rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The chashu was the best I've ever had, tender and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I also tried the special Thai tea, which was fantastic and complemented the meal perfectly. The shrimp shumai was a delightful addition too. It was about crowded and busy when we went but the staff were super friendly and were working as quickly as they could to have us seated. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back!

Ramen ya is the best ramen place around the Baltimore area. The ramen is delicious!!! They do not have a large menu and the dining area is small, but don’t let that deter you from trying this place! We dined in on a Wednesday evening and it was fairly crowded - we waited about 25 minutes for a table. They have a viewing area of the noodle making which my kids enjoyed. The spicy (red) shoyu ramen is pretty spicy. This was my kids first time trying Ramen and they are hooked! Ordering extra noodles easily gives you another meal to take home - or give to your kids. This is a must try ramen place!

Tried the spicy tonkotsu ramen — the broth was deep and flavorful, though not as rich as in Japan. The meat was just right, and the noodles seemed freshly made in-house. Overall, very satisfying!

It's a ramen place. Nothing special though. Many options for beverages. I ordered the shumai, which was too sweet, the gyoza, which were good, and the seaweed salad, which was also good. Note: My opinions on MY food are from my perspective. My friend ordered the vegetable ramen. There weren't many vegetarian options, which surprised me. I thought there would be more at an Asian place. There was only one vegetarian entree. I would go back again if I was in the area.

FYI: They are closed Sun and Mon, and have very specific hours for lunch/dinner rushes. I desperately want this place to be a secret because it’s so good . If you go here during peak hours expect a wait (15-30 min), but it will be well worth it. You can wait in your car if you prefer to. Every time me and my partner go here we get the same thing: Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen and Curry Ramen. RamenYa really hits the spot, the ramen is savory, piping hot, and they make the noodles fresh!!! Chashu is flavorful and tender. I only wish they torched it like they used to when they first started, but I understand it takes up more time when serving. :’) You can tell when you eat it that it’s always made with care. I don’t really bother getting appetizers because the bowls are MASSIVE! The employees are super attentive and responsive. They have an awesome selection of Hokkaido Ales too, which I like to get when I go here because it’s rare to find them and they are extremely refreshing.

The overall experience at this restaurant was great! The ramen was served at the perfect temperature, and the flavors were absolutely on point. The food comes out quickly, and the staff is friendly and efficient—just be ready to order when they come by! The space is quite small, so I recommend calling ahead to make a reservation if you plan to visit during busy times. The only downside was that I requested extra meat but seemed to receive the regular portion. Also, the ramen bowls are on the smaller side, so if you have a big appetite, you might want to order two. Definitely worth checking out if you’re craving delicious ramen!
